CASTLEFORD DAILY BRIEFING 13/11/2025 - CONSERVATION AREA MEETING / WATER PROBLEMS / FORTHCOMING EVENTS
13 November 2025 Compiled by Tony Wallis of 'Talk Castleford with Tony’
Good morning, everyone, and thank you for joining me for today’s update. As always, it’s a pleasure to bring together the latest local news, community messages, and opportunities to get involved in shaping Castleford’s future. Our town is full of people who care deeply about where we live, and it’s that shared spirit that keeps these daily briefings lively, useful, and (most important) community-led.
This evening’s discussion about the proposed conservation area is just one example of how local voices can make a real difference. Whether you’re planning to attend the meeting or prefer to take part from home through the consultation links, your view matters. And so do your thoughts on everything else featured here—water supply updates, school announcements, heritage talks, festive events, all the little pieces of Castleford life that matter to us all.
I’d really love to hear what you think. Your comments help highlight what people are experiencing across the town; they spark ideas, help others, and even showthe way to practical solutions. If something here catches your attention, makes you smile, or raises a question, please share your thoughts. You can leave a comment directly on this blog (just sign in with Google) or join the conversation under today’s Facebook post.
Thank you, as always, for reading and for being part of our growing Talk Castleford community. Your voice shapes these conversations, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
