Good morning. I attended the remembrance service at Castleford War Memorial this morning to observe the silence. 

On 25 November 2025, Santa will be in his grotto at the library to see children after school. A limited number of tickets at £2 each can be bought from the library until they are sold out.

Missing woman, 43, last seen three days ago believed to have travelled to Blackpool

Laura, 43, was last seen in the Castleford area at around 11am on 7 November 2025.

Let me know your bonfire night tales. Today, two good news items about improving our town centre. The third of three murals has been given the go ahead. This is for the Bancroft Road subway. The subway has had a reputation for being unfriendly but this news marks a positive change. I'm looking forward to the 'Destination Castleford' boards. What do you think of the idea?
