🚗 Free parking could return this Christmas
Two hours’ free parking may be reintroduced at council-run car parks across Wakefield—possibly in time for the Christmas shopping season—if new plans go ahead.

Local traders have long called for easier access to town centre shopping. If this goes through, it could be a welcome boost for small businesses during their busiest time of year.

Castleford Market – Thursday 30 October, 10am–3pm
