CASTLEFORD DAILY BRIEFING 16 JULY 2025
CASTLEFORD DAILY BRIEFING - 16th JULY 2025
Compiled by Tony Wallis
“TALK CASTLEFORD WITH TONY”
Yesterday, I started “Talk Castleford with Tony’, my way of helping Castleford folk as a local councillor to help shape the events that affect their lives. Its website is https://www.talkcastlefordwithtony.co.uk. It include links to “Talk Castleford with Tony’ social media pages on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. There is an associated ‘View Castleford with Tony’ channel on YouTube.
It’s just started but I hope you can contribute to make ‘Talk Tony with Castleford’ a success for the town, especially the ward I represent. It’s not just online, look out for ‘Talk Castleford with Tony’ events in the “real world” too.
This blog site, which includes these daily briefings, will not be part of the ‘Talk Castleford with Tony’ brand, because the posts are my own, but there is are links on the web site to my latest blog posts. Similarly, my Linkedin page will not be part of the brand.
Every morning, to make my work as a local councillor more efficient, I search the web for a daily briefing of news and events. While it was originally for my benefit, I’ve realised it is a service to share with others. It is a briefing so just headlines and sources I’ve come across and checked.
Please let me know if there are any events or news you think I need to add. Contact details are on the home page of this blog.
